Culture related activities start and end with Angkor Wat, But beside this „must have seen“ UNESCO world heritage there is other temples and pagodas in and around the city, floating villages on the Tonle Sap or Phnom Kulen national park which are also very worth while visiting. Museums like the Angkor National Museum satisfy the desire to learn about local ancient history, whereas the Landmine and the War Museum represent the latest tragic history of Cambodia.
